My 2010 Camaro regularly uses 18" tires. Belle Tire said 17" Blizzak truck tires would work. Will they?

The tire type is Bridgestone Blizzak dm-v1 P225 65 r17, but they seem to be truck or suv tires from everything I've seen. Will they still work, or should I find another tire shop?
