Why can't I stick with one book?
Yara's answer is full of good suggestions and I wanted to add to her answer in regards to the SAT. Reading Comprehension for the SAT is best improved with repeated practice. Students who score high on this portion of the SAT are prolific readers, who are comfortable reading dry, difficult pages. To help you get used to the type of reading necessary for the SAT I suggest that from now until test time, read one short article each day from an online newspaper or magazine such as, the Wall Street Journal or National Geographic. Have a friend or parent quiz you on the article you read. You can find additional reading resources in PowerScore's SAT free help section at a href="http://www.powerscore.com/sat/help/reading_comp_practice.cfm" rel="nofollow"http://www.powerscore.com/sat/help/readi…/a . I hope that you find this information helpful. Good luck!
