My university lecturers are on strike and are withholding my final grades. What can I do?

I'm really upset as I worked hard for my degree and my results have still not been released. I need to know my results to get onto a masters course place I have been offered. The strikes are happening because university management are making cuts. I sympathize with lecturers, but why are my grades being held ransom? I'm really upset. Is there anything I can do to help solve the problem?
